We measure how big a country is by its land, not by how many people live there. Russia has the most land of any country in the world.

Russia stretches all the way across Europe and Asia. It covers about 17 million square kilometers of land.

You could fit about 45 Japans inside Russia. Russia is so wide, it has 11 different time zones.
